We originally started Craws for a Cause under the name "Craws for Paws" in 2008.

The event held that name for the first two years, which raised money for the Humane Society of Pulaski County.

This event is by far the "Largest Crawfish Boil in the State of Arkansas" with over 4,000 people in attendance in 2010 and serving 15,000 pounds of Louisiana Crawfish.

The reason I started this event in the first place was to bring back something that I missed from my college days, a good ole fashioned Crawfish Boil. "Craws for a Cause, the first year in 2008 our goal was to sale 300 tickets to the event, and we sold out with 720 people attending the first time event. In 2009 the goal was 1,000 people, we sold out both River Market Pavilions with over 2,200 people attending in all. In 2010 we needed a larger venue, so we moved the event to North Little Rock's Dickey Stephens Park, home of the Arkansas Travelers baseball park. We doubled in size again with 4,500 total in attendance.
